Your Infant's Day

Physical development of coordinated motor skills is a large part of an infant’s first year attending Walnut Grove School house.  Our carefully selected ‘Building Bodies’ activities help build physical strength and motor coordination with daily experiences.  This program allows infants continually practicing fine-motor skills, hand and eye coordination, hand and full body movements, and much more.

Brain Games

Infants begin to use and integrate their senses right away to explore their brand new world. Through our age appropriate ‘Brain Games’ activities, children use one or more of their developing senses related to memory, spatial orientation, and cause and effect.

First Words

Language and communication development is most profound during a child's first three years of life, while the brain is beginning to develop and mature. Our ‘First Words’ activities help develop skills in an environment rich with sounds, sights, and consistent exposure to speech and language.

Making Friends

Feelings of confidence, pride, trust, friendship, and humor are all part of social-emotional development. Walnut Grove School house’s ‘Making Friends’ activities promote early social interactions and conversations, develop facial expressions to communicate, and support self-identity.
